5 GNU/Linux Audio Editors that I haven’t tried

Since I switched to GNU/Linux, I only know about one audio editor that is Audacity. I didn’t know about the following five audio editors on GNU/Linux probably because I don’t like music and I used Audacity mainly for editing recordings instead of music files.

  1. Linux MultiMedia Studio
    • Create beats and basslines
    • Many instrument effects
  2. Traverso DAW
    • Innovative UI (User Interface)
    • “Complete solution from recording to CD Mastering”
  3. Rosegarden
    • Audio and MIDI sequencer
    • Score Editor
    • Ideal for composers, musicians, music students, and small studio or home recording environments
  4. Ardour
    • Hard disk recorder and digital audio workstation
    • Suitable for professional use
  5. Hydrogen
    • Advanced drum machine
    • Simple and intuitive pattern-based drum programming
