5 GNU/Linux Audio Editors that I haven’t tried
Since I switched to GNU/Linux, I only know about one audio editor that is Audacity. I didn’t know about the following five audio editors on GNU/Linux probably because I don’t like music and I used Audacity mainly for editing recordings instead of music files.
- Linux MultiMedia Studio
- Create beats and basslines
- Many instrument effects
- Traverso DAW
- Innovative UI (User Interface)
- “Complete solution from recording to CD Mastering”
- Rosegarden
- Audio and MIDI sequencer
- Score Editor
- Ideal for composers, musicians, music students, and small studio or home recording environments
- Ardour
- Hard disk recorder and digital audio workstation
- Suitable for professional use
- Hydrogen
- Advanced drum machine
- Simple and intuitive pattern-based drum programming
